 The Samaritan PAD is a user-friendly automated external defibrillator designed with everyday people in mind.  It will guide the lay rescuer throughout the rescue process using three simple icons and verbal instructions.  Built on many years of research, it offers reliability & durability backed with a 7 year warranty.

This user-friendly defibrillator will guide you through each step of the rescue process with clear voice instructions and coinciding descriptive flashing icons.  In noisy rescue situations, these visual flashing icons alone can coach you through each step.

Built with the latest state of the art technology, the Samaritan PAD™ meets or exceeds military standards for drop and shock (MIL STD 810F) (Category 4 Truck Tansportation & Category 7 Aircraft).  Furthermore,  the Samaritan PAD™ has been classified as IP56 (Dust & Water Resistance),  the only defibrillator in the world to have such qualification for dust and water protection.

The Innovative PAD-PAK™
This ground-breaking pre-connected electrode pads & battery integrated in one single cartridge is called the PAD-PAK™.  This means simplified maintenance with only one date to monitor and only one item to replace.  The PAD-PAK™ offers the lowest cost of ownership versus the older AED units that use the electrode pads separate from the battery.  The PAD-PAK™ lasts 3 years in service and can deliver 30 shocks or monitor the patient for up to 6 hours. 

Biphasic Escalating Energy Defibrillator
The Samaritan PAD™ is manufactured by Heartsine Technologies, a world leader in personal and public access cardiac rhythm management with over 4 decades of research, development, clinical studies, and patented technologies.  The Samaritan PAD uses HeartSine Technologies SCOPE™ Biphasic (a low-energy waveform, 100j to 200j, that adjusts for the differences in each person’s physical make-up) to deliver optimal defibrillation to every patient.
